He is survived by: his parents, Louis Schneider and Thelma Schneider; his wife Peggy; his children, David (Gwen), Ann, Kathy (Scott) and Stephen (Katie); his brother Tom; and his grandchildren, Meredith, Maggie, Karis (Bill), Prescott, Meg, Nate, Evangeline, Kyle, Keelie, Kaleb and Kiersten.
