He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Pickney (Savoy) and Joseph Pickney Sr.; his son Alfred Green; and his brother Joseph Pickney. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Pickney of Port Arthur; his son Harold J. Pickney Jr. (Detra) of Beaumont; and his close friend Carolyn Brady of Port Arthur.
