She was predeceased by: her parents, Wylie Peveto and Edna Maye Crain Peveto; her husband L. P. Whittington; her sister Imogene Denby; and her great grandchild Callie Pennington.
She is survived by: her sibling Southeast of Texas; her daughters, Edwina Land (Charles) and Melina Pennington (Tommy); her grandchildren, Amy Brukbauer (Pete), Regina Snell (Randy), Chuck Land (Robin), Sherry Paschal (Bubba) and Jake Pennington (Amber); her great grandchildren, Kate, Paige, Jack, Reagan (Bryant), Ryan, Kylee, Cade, Cane, Jake, Zane, Macy and Baylor; her sisters, Faye Paules and Gertrude Whittington; her brother-in-law Horace Whittington (Iris); and her grandsons, Pete Brukbauer, Randy Snell, Bubba Paschal and Jesse Pennington. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
