He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Lemelle and Cecilia Auzenne Lemelle; his son Victor Vincent Lemelle, Jr.; his siblings, Lorine Lemelle, Lionel and Joseph Lemelle; and his granddaughter Brandy Lemelle.
He is survived by: his children, Bertrand Lemelle (Debra), Warren Joseph Lemelle (Carla), Leonard Lemelle (Rose), Victoria Ann Denson, Lorine Lemelle and Loraine Semien-Coates (Tracy); and his siblings, Angelina Papillion, Mable Marie Sam (Willie), Debra Lemelle-Thierry, Morris Lemelle (Celeste), Jesse Lemelle (Rosabelle), Sidney Lemelle (Mercy Lee) and Jude Lemelle (Glenda). He is also survived by friends as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
