He was predeceased by: his mother Annette Marie Granier; and his son Ralph Cook. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Marge" Huff Tanoos of Liberty; his daughter Marci Breaux (Jim) of Missouri City; his grandchildren, April Frank (Nathan), Christopher Cook-Carter (Brian), Taylor Cook, Scott Ray and Joseph Ray; his great grandchildren, Abigail Ivy, Claire Frank and Houston Frank; his brother Tommy Tanoos (Stella) of Plaquemine; and his nephew Travis Tanoos. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
