Ronald Glen Winters Sr., age 62, passed away on July 19, 2022, in Liberty, TX.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, two children, his daughter Stefanie Winters and his son, Ronald Winters Jr. (Camila); one step-grandchild Angelica; his brother Kenneth Winters Sr. (Sondra); his two sisters Carol Sias (Raymond Sr.) and Carla Lemelle (Warren Sr.); one aunt, Rita Bellard; one uncle, Josh Nelson (Dorothy) and an array of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eva and BB Winters Jr. and a sister, Debra Winters.
Ronald Sr. was born on July 15, 1960 to parents BB and Eva Winters. He graduated from Liberty High School in 1978 and resided most of his life in Liberty and Ames, TX where he worked for various entities including The City of Liberty. He married Carolyn Semien in 1985 and the couple had two children together. They later separated and co-parented as Ronald moved to Ames, TX, where he lived out the rest of his life.
Ronald enjoyed watching and playing baseball in his younger years, woodworking, and backyard grilling. His family and friends will remember him as a crafty and carefree, yet stubborn at times, person who enjoyed life and doing things his own way.
