He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Melvin Cox and Hazel Mae Hamm; his siblings, Charles Melvin Cox and Darlene Bean; and his granddaughters, Makayla Trove and Caroline Ava Joy Cox.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Cox (Kimberly) of Mathis, TX, Roderick Cox (Leah) of Hardin and Diana Trove of Daisetta; his sister Lechia Evans of Liberty, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Madalyn, Logan, Landon, Nicholas, Villa, Bayly and Kyrstyn (Colton). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and a host of friends.
