It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rita Sue Smith of Liberty, Texas, who passed away at the age of 59, on December 25, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Patsy Gimnick (Ewing); and her aunts and uncles, Eugene Ewing, James McAnally, Irma Lee Parker and Bernice Hass.

She is survived by: her father Melvin Gimnick; her sister Ruby Eardley (Gimnick); her sons, Chris (Emily Brannen) and Brett Smith; her grandson Benjamin Brannen; and her aunts, Linda (Bud Cole), Bonnie McAnally, Melba Stephenson and LaVern Ewing. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
