He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Dorothy Mae Parson and Ida Lee Boyd; and his brothers, James Parson and Christopher James Parson. He is survived by: his parents, James Arthur Parson and Belinda Joyce Williams of Saratoga, Texas; his son Austin Cole Benavides of Rye, Texas; and his brother Randall Benavides (Cristal) of Saratoga, Texas. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
