He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Coughlin, Sr. and Lorene Myrick Coughlin; and his siblings, Francise Coughlin and Pat Phipps. He is survived by: his wife Aurora Coughlin (Gloria); his sons, David Coughlin (Carol), Joe Coughlin, Sr. (Daleena) and James Coughlin (Monica); and his siblings, Nancy Vaughn (Everett), George Coughlin (Rena), Joe Caughlin (Marilyn) and Edna L. Tywater. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
