She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Ewing and Josie Deckert Ewing; and her brothers, Don and Eugene Ewing. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Gimnick of Liberty; her daughters, Ruby Eardley (Mel) of San Antonio and Rita Smith of Liberty; her sister Bonnie McAnally of Beaumont; her grandchildren, Christopher Brannen (Emily) of Dayton, Brett Smith and Stacy Burg of Austin; and her great grandchild Benjamin Brannen.
