She was predeceased by: her parents, Tennie Dagle and Betty Ellen Fregia Dagle; her husband Elder Lee Fontenot; her sons, Steven Lee Fontenot, Terry Lynn Fontenot and Edward Burt Fontenot; her stepson Larry Lee Fontenot; and her siblings, Wilson, James, Eule Dagle, Velia Whitmire, Rose Etta Proctor, Barbara Ballard, Betty Joyce and Mary Christine Dagle.

She is survived by: her siblings, Ellen Gaston (James) and Tennie Dagle (Ella).
