He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Monroe McCallister and Valteena McMahel McCallister; his wife Giannina Meneghello McCallister; and his siblings, Austin McCallister, Felix McCallister, Horace McCallister, Doris McCallister, Esther Shiver, Irma Robertson and Nina Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Liberty; his daughter Alice Carroll; his son-in-law Paul Carroll; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah Carroll, Joshua Carroll and Jessica Carroll. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
