She was predeceased by: her parents, Eula Demeris (Wise) and Hammond "Hoss" Scott, Jr.; her husband Preston Ellis Johnson; her stepdaughter Alice; and her siblings, Julia Scott, Alnet "Scottie" Bailess, Sam, LaVane, Atholee, Hammond, Jr., Melvin and John Scott.
She is survived by: her son Preston Ellis Johnson II (Beth); her stepdaughters, Annie Lamar Iverson (Neal), Barbara Lee Norwood (Ronny) and Deborah Ellis Boot (Ken); her grandchildren, Preston Ellis Johnson III, Benjamin Neal Johnson and Sarah Ellis Iverson (Matt McLeod); her great grandchildren, Myles Iverson, Emma Hudson and Mason Blake McLeod; her granddaughter Emily Lamar Iverson (Jordan Frosolone); her great grandchildren, Zanghi Ellis and Elio Jerome Frosolone; her grandson Jason Carrington Norwood (Kathy); her great grandchildren, Barbara Olivia and Casper Caves Norwood; her granddaughter Kathryn Lee (Jay Schultz); her great grandchildren, Thomas Norwood, Griffin Scott and Spenser Lee Schultz; her grandson Preston Matthew Norwood (Sara); and her great grandchildren, Gillilan Sophia, Stella Lucette and Preston Matthew Norwood II.
