She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Fontenot and Zelma Nugent Fontenot; her mother-in-law Bertha Fregia; her siblings, Elder Fontenot and Louise Nugent; and her nephew Larry Fontenot.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Fregia; her daughter JoAnn McCraw; her grandson Thelbert Ray Hilton; her children, Daniel Norris, Carolyn Hilton (Clarance) and Brenda Carr (Lance); her grandchildren, Clarance Hilton, Jr. (Toni), Matt Hilton (Angie), Chris Hilton (Ashley), Chelsey Copeland (Tyler), Bailie Leon (Doug), Jacob Carr (Erica), Steven Olson, Donna Zicafoose (Tim) and Rebecca Lee; and her friend Juanita. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
