He is survived by: his spouse Sandra Gilliand Rich; his children, Julie Pruett (Darell) of Liberty and John Rich (Nicole) of Tomball; his grandchildren, Logan Rich, Landon Rich, Luke Rich, Wilson Pruett and Lane Rich; and his close friend Wanda Berry. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
