She was predeceased by: her husband Ozeya Papillion; her parents, Lionel Lemelle and Cecila Lemelle; her grandson Shaquille Anderson; her son-in-law Michael Semien; and her brothers, Vincent Lemelle, Lionel Lemelle (Marmon) and Joseph Lemelle (Horace).

She is survived by: her children, Patrick, Laura, Lisa, Katherine, Liz and David. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
