He is survived by: his children, Florinda Hernandez, Leticia Serrato, Maria Eva Ceniciceros, Alma Neomi Serrato, Jose Antonio Serrato, Albino Serrato, Hector Jaime Serrato and Magdaleno Zavala; and his sisters, Agustina Garcia and Ana Maria Zavala. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
