It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeff Walker formerly of Liberty Hill, Texas, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. “In ‘03, I was running the 400 meter dash at district. I was in first but losing steam. As I rounded that last curve, Coach Walker came out of nowhere & sprinted along side me shouting at me that I would not let her pass me. I won. I don’t know that I would have if he’d not been there. I was a female athlete-not even one of his football players.yet, he did that for me. He was courageous & honorable who left a valiant legacy. God Bless you & prayers for you.
