She is survived by: her spouse José Montes; her children, Rosalva Loera of Liberty Hill, Juana María Loera of Eagle Pass and Silbestre Loera (Jessica) of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Adrian Villanueva, Alexandra, Leonardo and Elliana Loera; and her siblings, Magdaleno Tobías of Del Rio, Nolberto Tobías of Brownwood and Francisca Tobías (Coahuila) of Jiménez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and stepchildren.
