He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore W. Kurtz and Norma Kurtz (Stenger). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kurtz; his siblings, Robert Kurtz (Sue), Allen Kurtz (Christine) and Sharon Kurtz Aponik; his niece Alexandra E. Jedrey; and his pets, Annie, Lucy, Nina and Suzy.
