It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dixie Clakley in Liberty Hill, Texas, who passed away on June 3, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Solomon Levi Clakley, Jr.; her children, Sheila Steele and Darrell Clakley; her brothers, Clarence and David Conaway; and her great grandchild Tyler Revis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Chapman of Prattville, Janelda Kelly of Tyler and Dixie Rachelle of Tyler. She is also survived by eight sisters, four brothers, 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
