He is survived by: his daughter Nicole; his wife Arlene Carter; his son-in-law David DeTuccio; his children, Michael Carter and Michelle Lewis; his grandchildren, Kirsten Carter, Zoe Ardary, Caden, Amelia, Ransom DeTuccio, Lillian, Emma, MaeLeigh Carter, Julia Landry, Tristan Paris and Austin Schell; his siblings, John David Carter, Edward Teater, Connie Vandiver, Jeannette Carter-Widick and Dwight Carter; and his pet Pearl. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
