We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2021, at the age of 60, Julia Zahn Defreece of Liberty City, Texas, born in Falfurrias, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Boyd Zahn Sr. and Mary Nell Allan. She is survived by: her children, Janell Dunaway (Jacob Dunaway) of Liberty City and Tell DeFreece (Morgan DeFreece) of Shreveport; her grandson Eli Dunaway of Liberty City; her brothers, J. B. Zahn Jr. (Sherrie Zahn) of Trinity and Scott Zahn (Donna Zahn) of Tatum; and her nieces and nephews, Amanda Zahn of Nacogdoches, Kimberly Kitchens of Louisville, Michelle Busby of Meridian, Scotty Zahn of Tatum and Jonathan Culpepper of Trinity. She is also survived by numerous cousins, friends, and other loving family members.
