He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Daniel Waites and Martha Juanita Heim Waites; and his brother-in-law Bob McNutt. He is survived by: his wife Galena Gee Waites of Liberty City; his daughter Tammy Mierop (Keith) of Marshall, TX; his stepsons, Dylan and Daryn Hitchcock of Liberty City; and his siblings, Anita McNutt of Liberty City, Dave Waites (Rhonda) of Anna, TX and Gary Waites of Liberty City. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless loving friends and family.
