It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anne Garner of Liberty City, Texas, born in Whitewright, Texas, who passed away on August 23, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Roy Waldrum and Anna Waldrum; her siblings, Ruth Waldrum Jones and Roy Waldrum Jr.; and her nephew Bill Jones.

She is survived by: her husband Albert L. Garner of Liberty City; her children, Caryn Couch (Travis) of Liberty City and Alan L. Garner (Debbie) of Liberty City; her grandchildren, Jennifer Sparks (Cal) of Liberty City, Nicole Nicholson (Eddy) of Liberty City, Cayce Rutledge (John) of Richardson, Amy Emge (Ben) of Tyler and Alex Garner (Morgan) of Tyler; her nieces and nephews, J. L. Jones of San Antonio, Raul Alvarado of San Antonio, Marca L. Davis of Fort Worth, Lola Ann Waldrum of Richardson and Laurel Piontek of Richardson; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce G. Wendt of Bay City, Sue Garner of Abilene and Aileen Garner of Carrolton. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

“We loved Albert and Anne. She always had a smile for us at worship services. We truly enjoyed the times that we visited in their home. We especially enjoyed the times that we went to their home just before Christmas and sang carols with them. There were both delightful.
