He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shelton and Tonie Shelton (Schuster). He is survived by: his wife Frances Shelton; his daughters, Wanda (Louis Bostic), Mary Retzloff of Lexington and Rebecca (Michael Partee); his grandchildren, Michael Bostic of Austin, John Bostic of Elgin, Bailey Shelton of Oklahoma, Carter Shelton of Oklahoma, Rowan Shelton of Oklahoma, Gracie Shelton of Giddings, Annie (Clinton Murphy), Beau Becton of North Dakota, Ashley (Dustin Brister), Cassie Partee of Georgetown and Chase Partee of Georgetown; and his great grandchildren, Carlisle Murphy of Giddings, Jason Brister of Lexington and Allie Brister of Lexington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
