It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlton Gibson of Lexington, Texas, born in Burkburnett, Texas, who passed away on August 9, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Gibson and Dorothy Gibson (Ragsdale); and his wife Mary Elizabeth. He is survived by: his children, Eric Carlton Gibson of Lexington and Gail Terese Gerdes (Lee Charles) of Lexington; his brother R. E. Gibson (Sharon) of Georgetown; and his grandchildren, Callie Shae Gerdes of Austin and Garrett Lee Gerdes of Lexington.
