It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carl Victor Letterman of Lexington, Texas, born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on June 24, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gus Letterman and Edna Mary Letterman (Weidner); his wife Margaret Letterman; his son David Letterman; and his brother-in-law Robert Brister.

He is survived by: his children, Leigh Ann Letterman of Lexington and Charles Letterman of Houston; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Letterman of Houston and Austin Letterman of Houston; his sister Priscilla Brister of Lexington; and his sister-in-law Pat Coates of Guy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Lexington, Gideons International, or to the charity of one's choice.
