It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernardo Sanchez Jr. of Lexington, Texas, born in Pearsall, Texas, who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernardo Sanchez Sr. and Adelina Sanchez; his sister Guadalupe Sanchez Ramirez; and his daughter Aixa Sanchez. He is survived by: his wife Refugia Sanchez of Lexington; his children, Danny (Joanna Sanchez), Eric (Laura Sanchez), Fernando (Christy Gutierrez), Miranda Saldana of Bryan, Herardo Gutierrez of Illinois, Connie (Roger Hernandez), Ruth (Brad Buckingham) and Bartholome Gutierrez of Lexington; and his sisters, Alicia Chacon of Kerrville and Irma (Robert Leal). He is also survived by 31 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
