It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Rene Pena of Lewisville, Texas, born in McAllen, Texas, who passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Reyna Pena. He is survived by: his father Rafael Pena; his wife Veronica Pena; his children, Jonah (Katelyn), Paulina, Danielle, Christina and Nathaniel; his siblings, Gloria Pickett (family: Christopher, Ashley Lange, Braxton, Ava), Sylvia Steiner (Jeff, family: Rachel, Amanda, David) and Ron Pena (Diane, family: Callie Schultz, Kristen Bohac, Courtney); his nephew Emerson; his brother Ralph Pena; and his friend Richard. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.

His love for them was his motivation, and as someone who consistently rose to a challenge with confidence, his fight with COVID was no exception.
