Phyllis Hopson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2024, at the age of 80, Phyllis Hopson of Lewisville, Texas, born in Cedar Hill, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Redding and Rufus Redding; her son Mark Chennault (Paul Hopson); her stepdaughter Pat Neill; and her granddaughter Noelle Marie Chennault.
She is survived by: her brother Robert Redding (Donna); her grandsons, Tony and Dillon Chennault; her stepchildren, Jodie Wood (Robert), Keith Hopson (Janna) and Kenneth Hopson (Delight); and her nieces, Lisa, Deanna and Stacey. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spence Park Baptist Church - Balch Springs (11209 Lyric Ln, Balch Springs, TX 75180). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 10:15 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
