He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Joe" Murrell Birdwell and Bobbie Jo Meade Birdwell. He is survived by: his wife Linda Leak Birdwell of Highland Village, Texas; his children, Joe Birdwell (Abbie) of Hurst, Texas and Michelle Athey (Bryan) of Sadler, Texas; his stepchildren, Suzanne Bair of The Colony, Texas and Stephen Bair of Carrollton, Texas; his half-brother Frank Bright; and his grandchildren, Emily, Ruby, Austin, Aubrey, Macy and Blake.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Peatown Church.
