He was predeceased by: his father Henry H. Short. He is survived by: his wife Kristine; his sons, Tyler, Dylan and Ayden of Lewisville, TX.; his mother Sandi Short of Rowlett, TX; his brother Ryan Short of Kansas City, MO; and his half-brothers, Paul Short of Gardner, KS and Larry Short. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Matt's memory may be made to his church to specifically support the church-planting ministry (in India) of Dr. William Subash, whom Matt knew personally.
