She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph C. Upchurch; and her son Gerald Ralph Upchurch. She is survived by: her daughter Elaine Helsley; her daughter-in-law Alveda Upchurch; her children, Frieda Wilt (Harry), Charles Upchurch (Lanette), Paul Upchurch (Trecia), Liz Whale, Sharon Sanderson (Mike) and Justine Stogsdill (Chopper); and her grandchildren, Keith, Jeffery, Michael, Glen, Randy, Sheila, Clifton, Carla, Brian, John Mark, Tammy, Paul Jr, Jake, Jessie, Hollie, Chase, Cameron, Tyler, Chad and Misty. She is also survived by her eight children.
