He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Luis Alvidrez, Sr. and Conchita Meza Alvidrez; his wife Pam; his grandchildren, Annalia and Mya of Lewisville; his son Mack Ross Alvidrez of Lewisville; his siblings, Connie Melendez (Ralph) of El Paso, David Meza of El Paso and Armando Alvidrez of El Paso; his brother-in-law Oscar Molina of Houston; and his sister Delia Molina. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
