She is survived by: her parents, Ed Courtade and Jean Courtade; her sisters, Barbara Westall (Timothy) and Kimberly Courtade; her nieces, Julia and Allie Westall; her nephew Jack Bettes-Westall; and her pet Payton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of America.
