It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fred O. Placke (Lewisville, Texas), born in Giddings, Texas, who passed away on February 10, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Fred O. Placke Jr.; his wife Caren Linn Placke; and his brothers, Gregory and Geoffrey. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Melcher Placke; his children, Fred O Placke IV (Erin), Rebekah Leah O'Sullivan (James), Gregory Nathaniel Placke (Lauren) and Carey Leann Frazer (James); his grandchildren, Avery, Gabriel, Avner, McKinley, Charlie and Peyton; and his siblings, Linda Ruth and George (Elizabeth). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lewisville ISD Education Foundation for the Fred O. Placke III memorial scholarship.
