She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Ray Darnell; her son Charles Wayne Darnell; and her grandson Shane Darnell Lynn. She is survived by: her daughters, Danette Wiggins of Carrollton, Jody Mills of Lewisville and Jackie Brede; her son-in-law James Brede of Athens; her grandchildren, Carrie Darnell, Mayson Brede, Skyler Brede, Eric Wiggins and Joey Darnell; and her brother Gene Smith (Bandit).
