She was predeceased by: her husband Van W. Belton; her parents, Lee Mark Hanna and Mary Eulalia Lamkin Hanna; and her brother Lee Mark Hanna, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Deputy Clerk; her great-nephews, Daniel and Cody Hanna; her daughter Linda Simpkins (Jim); her grandson J. B. Simpkins; her brother Jimmie Hanna; and her friend Alice Hubbard. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church or the Methodist Children's Home, Ruston, Louisiana.
