He is survived by: his mother Marlene Hightower; his sons, Zachary Hightower and Trey Hightower; his siblings, Karry Hightower, Sam Hightower and Debbi Estes; his grandchildren, Vera Hightower, Bronson Hightower and Cooper Hightower; his nieces and nephews, Olivia Hightower, Audrey Hightower, Levi Estes and Laramie Estes; his great-nieces, Kenna Grace Estes and Hadley Estes; and his great-nephew Riley Estes.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in Tarry's name to Levelland Christian School and Childcare Center, 1905 Cactus Drive, Levelland, Texas 79336.
