She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Carlyle Russell and Francis Kathryn "Kate" Jennings Russell; her siblings, Rex Russell and Rae Eddins; and her grandson J. T. Mitchell of Clovis.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Mixon; her daughters, Kelley Sanders (Wade) of Whiteface, Texas, Karen Mitchell (Ricky) of Forrest, Jackie Van Staalduine (Moose) of Foremost and Shawna Jameson (Jarrett) of Glenn, Texas.; her grandchildren, Heidinger of Lethbridge, Brady Van Staalduine of Foremost, Kasi Van Staalduine of Lethbridge, Sierra Jameson Bersano (Andrew) of Fort Worth and Jayda Jameson of Roaring Springs, Texas.; and also, Kandi Mitchell Wall (Josh), Mitchell Wall of Tucumcari, Bridger Sanders (Loni), Branson Sanders, Brennan Sanders, Ariel Loftin, Kaydence Loftin of Sundown, Texas, Rowdy Sanders (Jamie), Kambry, Ryken Sanders of Levelland, Texas, Haley Sanders Branscum (Cobey), Paisley, Steeley Branscum of Muleshoe, Texas and Kaitlyn Van Staalduine Heidinger (Grant). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Krestridge Funeral Home (505 Austin St, Levelland, TX 79336). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Littlefield Memorial Park Cemetery (1700 W Delano Ave, Littlefield, TX 79339).
