He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Leon and Mary Myrle Guthrie. He is survived by: his wife Frances Guthrie; his children, Richard Guthrie and Vanise Lacina; and his stepchildren, Vickie Pinkston and Ty Hall. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
