He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Alberta Justin Reynolds and Tom Stevens; his brothers, T. J. Stevens and Edwin Stevens; and his grandchildren, Kenneth Jarrod Jones and Natalie Evette Gillie.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Stevens; his children, Dale Stevens (Jeannie), Darrell Stevens (Jolyn), Diana Zahn (Sheldon), Doris Miller (Danny) and Darlene Fillman (Paul); his sisters, Veonah Jez and Mildred Stevens; his grandchildren, Steven Zahn, Mitchell Stevens, Ashley Mills, Casey McCorkle, Pamela Gillie, Kaylee Smith, Ryan Fillman, Cody Fillman and Ashlyn Simmons; and his great grandchildren, Carson, Hudson Stevens, Keighton Mills, Maverick McCorkle, Kiersten Gillie, Kaytlyn Dufek and Dustin Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in R.A.'s memory be made to the First Missionary Baptist Church, 102 E. Taylor, Morton, Texas 79346.
