He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond James Austin Sr. and Effie Austin (Moore); and his sister Marcelee Tate. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Angel; his sons, Cary Austin of Lubbock, Greg Austin of Louisville, Georgia and Jeffery Austin of Pompano Beach, Florida; and his grandson Sam Austin (Corye) of Lubbock.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Enochs Cemetery (839 US-385, Levelland, TX 79336). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
