He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Caroland and Katherine Caroland; his wife Rose Caroland; his son Mike Caroland; and his brothers, Cletus, Douglas, Harry, Donnie and Gene Caroland.
He is survived by: his sons, Eddie Caroland (Kathy), Ken Caroland (Janie) and Kim Caroland; his daughter-in-law Kay Caroland; his grandchildren, Cecily Holder (Roland), Charlie Caroland, Lance Caroland (LaJuana), Jennifer Fortner (James) and Shawna Mulloy (Jace); and his great grandchildren, Luke Caroland, Lucas Caroland, Annika Caroland, Reagan Barrera, Brincent Barrera, Farrah Fortner, Brooks Fortner, Brittany Mulloy, Carson Holder and Ryla Holder.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
