It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margarita Mendoza (Levelland, Texas), who passed away on April 17, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mauro Montalvo and Francisca Montalvo; her daughter-in-law Hilda Mendoza; and her brothers, Martiriano Montalvo, Bernardo Montalvo, Johnny Montalvo and Rene Montalvo.
She is survived by: her husband Alonzo Mendoza, Sr. of Levelland; her sons, Alonzo, Jr. of Levelland, Alfonso "Pancho" (Virginia) of Ozona and David of Dallas; and her siblings, Greg Montalvo of Austin, Martina Bazan of San Marcos and Socorro Montalvo of New Braunfels. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
