He was predeceased by: his parents, Anselmo Galindo and Juana Galindo (Perez); his siblings, Teresa Galindo, Chavela Galindo, Antonio Perez and Simon Martinez; his son Earnest Galindo; and his grandson Nicholas Garza.
He is survived by: his wife Erlinda Rodriguez; his children, Mary Galindo, Margie Galindo, Louise Zuniga, Ricky Galindo (Rita) and Paty Garza (Fred); and his sister Maria Galindo. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Jose's name to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
