Jolene Shafer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2021, at the age of 86, Jolene Shafer of Levelland, Texas, born in Olton, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Wozencraft and Edisy Wozencraft (Lawson); her husband Freddie Bob Burgess; her siblings, Nora Lee Robertson and Kent Wozencraft; and her sister-in-law Kathy Hyman.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Rust (Duane) of Levelland, Janice Griffin of Lubbock and Danette Burgess of Levelland; her brother Max Wozencraft of Riverside, CA.; her grandchildren, Michael Rust (Ashley), Brandy Williamson (Brian), Justin Griffin, Jared Rust (Kortney) and Dereck Burgess (Sunnye); and her great grandchildren, Brianna, Gavin, Brylee, Stetson, Kinsley, Kaeson and Sterling.
