James Franklen Sullivan Obituary
James F. Sullivan, 89, of Levelland, Texas passed away on March 6, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Interment will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery.
James was born January 8, 1933 in Clarksville, Texas in Red River County, to Walter Van Dyke Sullivan and Willie Estelle Sessions Sullivan. He married Glenda Nell Shirley on December 25, 1952 in Opedyke, Texas, outside of Levelland, they were married 69 years. He served in the US Army for two years. James farmed for many years and later had a pig operation. He went on to work for Hockley County as a foreman for Precinct 3. He was a member of Park Drive Baptist Church.
James was preceded in death by his father and mother; brothers, Robert G. Sullivan Carl Sullivan and Kenneth Ray Sullivan; and sisters, Midye Lindsey, Imogene Tucker, Betty Brown and Joyce McDonald.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Sullivan of Levelland, Texas; sons, Keith (Robin) Sullivan of Levelland and Monte (Katie) Sullivan of Levelland; daughter, Tami (Jon) Nielson of Floydada, Texas; sister, Francis (Jay) Kerr of Hereford, Texas; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
